A long video of the P3 featuring an extended game of pseudo-soccer - the
robot shows an ability to bend and hold/drop objects, but clear insensitivity to visual
experience.

This image compares the P3 to the older and larger P2 model.
P2 (1994-1997)
The P2 was the first true self-contained humanoid robot. No longer in active use, but continues to be displayed at Robodex and other Honda promotional events.

The picture above compares the P2 and P3. The P3 is almost 6 feet tall.

This picture shows the P2 at the Robodex 2000 trade show. Note the larger
and more primitive appearance compared to Asimo. In spite of this, the P2
is capable of using tools to hammer and tighten bolds on machines.

P1 (1993-1996)
This was Honda's original walking robot integrating an upper and lower body. Honda built 7 experimental walking robots befor P1. Historical footage of these models can be seen at the http://asimo.honda.com website and pictures of the entire Honda robot series may be found below.
"There is only one condition in which we can imagine
managers not needing subordinates, and masters not needing slaves. This
would be if every machine could work by itself, at the word of command or
by intelligent anticipation."
